Videos: Hot Stove Racing

Grab Some Popcorn, Get Comfortable:

Major League baseball has a term for the off-season; The “Hot Stove Season”.  That certainly applies to boat racing as well.  With the advent of the internet, YouTube, GoPro cameras, etc.  Hot Stove Racing has become incredibly interesting.

48 hrs of continuous video, 569 videos so far,, who could ask for anything more?

I’m Crazy and recently I set out to find every Stock Outboard video on YouTube.  My little project yielded the attached results.  The playlists include 569 videos and over 48 hrs of continuous hot stove racing.  I attempted to get all of the videos in correct chronological order.  I think special appreciation needs to go out to YouTube users Paul OfTopsfield and hydroracer93R.  These two have by far contributed the most to the video documentation of our sport, at least on YouTube anyway.  I may be crazy enough to spend the time pulling all these together but these two (and others) did the real work to capture the content and make it available to promote our sport.

What did I miss?

If you can find videos that I missed by all means comment below and I will add them to the playlists.  I for one would be particularly interested in more pre-2000 stuff.  For now I am concentrating only on Stock Outboard, maybe in the future we’ll pull together some Mod. and/or Pro stuff.
